At Here for the Girls, we say, "It takes a village to raise a nonprofit." We are so grateful for our village of supporters who share their time, talents, and treasure with us to support our mission and the women we serve. From businesses and community organizations to individuals and families, we all work together to make a difference in the lives of young women with breast cancer and their families.
If you'd like to join our village, here are some ways to get involved with H4TG.
Our signature events are the heartbeat of our village, bringing together survivors, supporters, and changemakers for unforgettable experiences that fund our mission and celebrate the strength of the women we serve. When you participate, you are not just attending an event; you are becoming part of something much bigger.
In a world where awareness is just the beginning, we invite you to take the next step and transform that awareness into real, lasting impact. "Go Beyond Pink" is more than just a phrase at H4TG, it is a call to empower change through dedicated fundraising efforts and community-driven campaigns that go far beyond the ribbon.
One of the most meaningful ways to support our village is to build one of your own. Whether you are launching a personal fundraiser, rallying your workplace, or joining one of our signature campaigns, every effort you make directly supports the young women and families we serve. Your involvement can empower lives, change the narrative surrounding breast cancer, and bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
Breast cancer doesn't take a month off, and neither does H4TG. As a Sustainer, your recurring monthly gift provides the reliable, uninterrupted support that powers our programs and services 365 days a year. Sustainers are the backbone of our village, ensuring that young women and their families always have somewhere to turn.
Each year, we invite our village to come together for our Annual Appeal, a special opportunity to make a direct, meaningful gift that sustains H4TG's programs and services into the new year. Your Annual Appeal gift ensures that we can continue providing critical support, education, and resources to young women with breast cancer and their families, no matter what the new year brings.
The need does not pause at year's end, and neither do we. Your gift during our Annual Appeal is one of the most impactful contributions you can make, helping us close the year strong and step into the next one with confidence.
Behind every event, program, and outreach effort is a dedicated team of volunteers who make it all possible. Volunteering with H4TG is one of the most direct ways to share your time and talents with the women and families we serve. Whether you have a few hours or a standing weekly commitment, we have a place for you in our village.
Volunteer opportunities include:
No matter your background or skill set, there is a volunteer opportunity that is the right fit for you. We provide training, support, and a community that will inspire you every step of the way.
A Calendar to Live By is one of the most beloved traditions in our village. Each year, our annual calendar features the stories and faces of breast cancer survivors from our community, real women whose courage and resilience inspire everyone who holds these pages. Tucked inside every calendar is A Guide to Caring for Yourself, an essential resource covering breast cancer awareness, managing risk, early detection, and healthy lifestyle choices every woman should know.
Every calendar purchased directly funds our mission to improve the lives of young women affected by breast cancer and their families.
More Than a Calendar
For many of our newest members, who are often newly diagnosed, A Calendar to Live By is one of the first things they receive in their welcome packet. It is our way of saying: you do not need to walk this journey alone. Our calendars are also distributed at community events and health fairs, putting life-saving breast health information into the hands of women everywhere.
Education is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against breast cancer, and our village is full of knowledgeable, passionate voices ready to be heard. H4TG offers dynamic speakers, health educators, and survivor ambassadors available to share their expertise and lived experience with your organization, workplace, school, or community group.
Our educational offerings include:
Whether you are hosting 10 people or 1,000, we can tailor a program that is meaningful, informative, and inspiring. Help us extend our village and bring the message of hope, early detection, and empowerment to the people in your community who need it most.
At H4TG, we know that treasure comes in many forms. In-kind contributions of goods and services are a meaningful and powerful way for businesses, organizations, and individuals to support our mission. Every donated item and service strengthens our ability to show up for the young women and families who count on us.
We gratefully accept in-kind support such as:
If your business or organization would like to contribute in-kind support, we would love to connect and explore how we can grow our village together.
There is always something happening in our village. From signature fundraising events and community health fairs to volunteer days and educational workshops, our calendar keeps you connected to every opportunity to get involved, give back, and go beyond the pink.
