Stories of Gratitude: Karen

November 21, 2022

Baking cookies for the holiday brings back so many memories of baking with my mom and then baking with my own son. When my son was little. we learned he was allergic to tree nuts and peanuts. So many holiday cookies call for nuts, so I started baking Snickerdoodle cookies for him. They are simple to make but delicious! My son is now 23, but snickerdoodles are still a fan favorite in our house, and he looks forward to them every December.

My deepest gratitude to our community partners for your steadfast support and generosity. Thanks to you, H4TG continues to fulfill our mission and provide loving support to our young members. Happy Holidays!
