September 2026: A Message from Our Executive Director

September 10, 2026

Dear Friends,

Don't be ashamed or intimidated to ask for help. — Sydney Johnson, Ms. September 2026

Those words are filled with courage and honesty. The words belong to Sydney Johnson, and we are honored to carry them forward in her memory.

We were founded on the belief that no one should walk this journey alone. This means providing space for the fear, the grief, the mental and emotional weight that a diagnosis carries. This means showing up not just at diagnosis, but through every twist and turn, and that honors those we lose by continuing to be here for those still walking the road.

Mental health is not a footnote in the cancer journey. It is woven into every part of it. Sydney knew that, and she had the courage to say so out loud. In doing so, she gave every woman who comes after her permission to do the same. We carry her legacy with us in everything we do.

This month and always, we are here for the girls. For Sydney. For all who need to know they are not alone.

Healthy Hugs,
Chris Schwab + The H4TG Team
