June is lovingly sponsored by Tom Gillman

As we continue with our reflection on The Heart of the Matter, we invite you to explore the unique journey of our calendar ambassadors and learn more about what it truly means to be here for the girls. Our mission is grounded in compassionate support, emotional well-being, and the power of community. Together, we face breast cancer with strength, hope, and heart.
What does it Mean to be an Ambassador....hear what our 2026 Calendar Ambassadors had to say about the role:
"To serve as living proof that you can survive and thrive. It allows me to create a visible, hands-on impact in the community."
"Being an ambassador has allowed me to actively advocate for newly diagnosed women and bring them into the best club that no one really wants to be invited to."
"Impact, support, joy, sisterhood, uplifting, fighters, survivors, connection, uplifting others."
"I have the honor of being a representative for an organization that supports young women diagnosed with cancer. Best club you never want to be a member of."
The Here for the Girls Ambassador Program is designed to inspire individuals to share their journey of breast cancer and spread the mission of H4TG. The ambassadors, typically members of H4TG, help amplify the power of stories, educate others, and seek opportunities to build bridges of connection and authentic relationships to serve the community holistically. The Program extends the reach and impact of the organization through these ambassadors that serve as dedicated representatives, actively promoting awareness, education, engagement, and support within their communities or networks.
The Ambassador Program addresses factors affecting the overall well-being of those living with a breast cancer diagnosis. We understand that four factors (knowledge, perception, motivation, and attitude or a belief system) influence decisions that impact health and well-being. With the combined efforts of ambassadors and our written health guide, A Guide to Caring for Yourself, we aim to successfully assist people in making the best health-related decisions.
The key objectives of the Ambassador Program are:
- Community Engagement: Ambassadors act as liaisons between H4TG and the community, fostering connections and understanding of the organization's mission and initiatives.
- Education: Ambassadors advocate for H4TG’s mission by raising awareness about overall health and wellness.
- Networking: By tapping into their social and professional networks, ambassadors can open doors to potential partnerships, collaborations, volunteers, and resources that benefit H4TG.
- Brand Advocacy: Through their advocacy efforts, ambassadors enhance the H4TG’s brand by embodying its values and promoting a positive image.
- Fundraising: Ambassadors may play an important role in fundraising efforts by organizing events, mobilizing donations, and leveraging their networks to secure financial support for H4TG.
Each year, a cohort of ambassadors are established, not on a prescribed formula or process, but rather a foundation of authenticity that promotes individuals to be seen and heard. Throughout their two-year commitment, they are trained and supported to share their unique personal cancer story, represent the mission’s message, and develop relationships with those who influence health outcomes. In accordance with our guiding principles, H4TG’s Ambassador Program embodies diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Ambassadors offer varied perspectives and engage in meaningful dialogue to help shape our outreach and member services initiatives.
We celebrate a new set of Ambassadors every year in our A Calendar to Live By. It features the photos and stories of the selected ambassadors to show the face of breast cancer in young women and inspire us all. These incredibly inspiring women serve as representatives for those we lost, those we serve, and those who don't even know they need us yet!
