Nicole Hall – Ms. February | Diagnosed at 42 (2022)

I am a 3-time Cancer Survivor! My journey started with Kidney Cancer at 41! While waiting for my surgery date to have half my kidney removed, I noticed a lump in my left breast. My OB-GYN sent me to get an ultrasound since I recently had my mammogram, and they told me it was just a cyst. I trusted the doctors and didn't ask for a biopsy. 11 months later, I was still feeling the lump which was bigger and hurt. After numerous tests, they confirmed two different spots as breast cancer, HER2+, and DCIS. My treatment was six rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and 28 rounds of radiation. In January 2024, I found out I had Thyroid cancer and had my thyroid removed. I had a rough couple of years, but I am fortunate that I have a support system, including my husband, children, family, and friends – they are my rock. Then there are my Pink Sisters from H4TG! They understood everything I was going through and helped me on rough days. I can cry, laugh, or just be silly with them! I could not get through everything without all these people. They helped me learn to accept my battle scars and own that I am a Warrior.
