March 2026: A Message from Our Executive Director

March 10, 2026

Dear Friends,

Lisa, Ms. March 2026, shares, "It's not what we'd hoped for," carry the weight of a life-changing diagnosis, the shock of unexpected news, the moment when everything shifts. But here's what we've learned from our community: that's never where the story ends.

Lisa, like many, was already juggling a lot as a mother, a military spouse, a full-time teacher, and a consultant, while navigating constant relocations. And then she had to add "breast cancer patient" to her list.

As we move through March, we are reflecting on what each of us might offer to the women in our community who are facing their own "It's not what we'd hoped for" moments. It could be showing up to volunteer. It could be donating. It could be simply believing in the power of what happens when women support women.

We are reminded of something essential: hope and encouragement are not passive feelings. They're transformative forces that can turn fear into strength, despair into determination, isolation into connection. Our members become a source of hope, inspiration, and power.

Thank you to everyone who makes our mission possible! You are creating the safe spaces, the connections, and the hope that transform lives.

Healthy Hugs,
Chris Schwab + The H4TG Team
