Bring the kids - Costumes and All! For 'Trunk or Treat' with the ladies of Here for the Girls!
The businesses at High Street on Richmond Road are organizing a Trunk or Treat High Street Festival on October 19, from 5:00-8:00 pm to benefit nonprofits serving the greater Williamsburg area. NetworkPeninsula is helping to coordinate the nonprofit participation. In addition to space to set up a table, there will be multiple opportunities for nonprofits to raise awareness and donations, and to win money via various contests they are organizing for participants. WMBG radio will be on site doing a remote and will be promoting the event the entire week ahead of the event. Movie Tavern will also be promoting the event on their marquis outside the theater and all the High Street businesses will have flyers weeks ahead to distribute to customers.
