Our dear friend and member Courtney was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Courtney is undergoing surgery on August 17 to remove both of her breasts. To show Courtney our love and support during her recovery and to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer, Iron Maidens is holding a plank challenge in Courtney’s honor.
How it works:
Beginning on August 21, we will begin each workout with plank training. Participants will plank for as long as possible and record their individual times on a worksheet. The goal each day is to hold plank longer than the previous day. During our workouts on September 13 and 14, we will hold our official plank challenge. Each member is encouraged to donate $5 per minute of plank. Iron Maidens LLC will match the funds raised (up to $300) and a prize will be given to the woman with the longest plank hold!
