Come get your kicks at this annual fundraiser hosted by Pat Garvey and the Poquoson Kiwanis in memory of his late wife Christine Garvey. Boys and girls teams from area high schools come to compete and 100% of all admission proceeds benefit Here for the Girls and Edmarc Hospice for Children. The Christine Garvey Memorial Soccer Tournament is in its 19th edition, founded in memory of Christine Olsen Garvey who lost a valiant battle to breast cancer in December, 1998. The 2018 event will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, March 12, 13, & 15, 2018. The event has raised more than $162,000 in the fight against cancer.
