April 2026: A Message from Our Executive Director

April 10, 2026

Dear Friends,

Spring is here, and with it comes a reminder of renewal, resilience, and strength. As we step into April, we want to share a story that captures the very heart of why our work matters and why community is everything.

For Beth Anne, our Ms. April calendar ambassador, H4TG wasn't an unfamiliar name. She had previously supported one of our calendar ambassadors and already knew the power of this sisterhood. But knowing about H4TG and needing H4TG are two very different things. Suddenly, the community she had championed from the outside became the lifeline she needed from within.

Beth Anne shares, “When no one else understands your tears, fears, anger, frustration, anxiety, and countless other feelings and emotions about having breast cancer—THEY DO."

To any young woman who has been diagnosed, Beth Anne's message is simple and heartfelt: reach out. Come to an event. Attend a meeting. Feel the love and care. This community was built for you.

As we move through April, let's carry Beth Anne's story with us not as a reminder of what cancer takes, but as proof of what early detection, community, and an unshakable sisterhood can give back.

Healthy Hugs,
Chris Schwab + The H4TG Team
